The Wine Site
Wine. It’s known and loved around the world. It’s what we imagine pairing with a great steak and what we long for when sitting in front of roaring fires.
Made of grape juice that’s fermented, there is a natural balance of chemicals within grapes that allow them to ferment without any extra sugar, enzymes or additional acids. Wine is made by adding varying types of yeast to the grape crushing process, which turns sugars in alcohol. Depending on the kind of wine being made, varying types of grapes and different forms of yeast are used to produce what has long been called ‘the drink of the Gods’.
